Is Firefox a free web browser?

I want to have both IE8 and Firefox but IE8 my "default."

How can I do that and also PLEASE HELP!

Go to the Firefox website and download it. It’s totally free; there’s no extra paid version or anything. All you need to do is click run when it asks you if you want to run or save and then follow the instructions that will come up. When Firefox first loads up, it will ask you if you want to set it as the default browser. Click no, and IE8 will stay as your default.

Yes Firefox is a free browser ..so is Opera, Avant, Safari and Chrome

Just download firefox and it will ask you if you want to make Firefox your default browser , just say no

Also in the start menu you can set which applications you want as your default applications
