Either Firefox or Opera, both are about as equally as fast as each other. Firefox is the more secure of the two but Opera has some features which are pretty good that make up for it’s lesser but still good security (eg. Speed Dial). Both browsers are excellent, I use Firefox though.
Safari is also fast but takes up way more memory than the others so I avoid it, it’s best on Apple Macs anyway rather than Windows PCs.
Avoid Google Chrome, it’s still in early stages and crashes very often (I’ve tried it on two different computers and it just crashes constantly).
Internet Explorer is slow and has terrible security, avoid.

Right now, Safari 4(beta) takes the cake, followed by experimental minefield. I don’t recommend either of these for a commonly used system. Most reports show the fastest "stable/secure" browser to be chrome, however chrome is still in beta (as all Google software tends to be. That said, i would go with Firefox 3, IE 7 is fine also but prone to hijacking due to it’s prevalence.

Safari is the fastest web browser, then following Firefox with really small difference. You will not see this difference.

Use Mozilla Firefox. It buffers videos faster than any other internet browser, although you may have to download additional add-ons for the browser.

hi rapid,
Firefox would be my choice, followed by Chrome & Opera.
It sorta comes down to preference in the end.
