I need to activate pop3 on my netscape browser, does anyone know how, or if the option is even still there on netscape 9?
Or does anyone know of another pop3 browser I could use for free?
1 Netscape is the only free pop3 browser I know of
2 I’m not using it for mail, I need it for a game client.
3 I asked HOW? or ANY OTHERS? not SHOULD I? please, answers to the asked questions people!!!
Thank you, I did a check on the client and It was only a piece of bad info that led me to believe that I needed both a pop3 browser and email account.
I’d forget the whole idea if you are tryin to forward mail to outlook. Think for a minute. You are safer viewing your e mail on someones website than you are if you automatically have it loaded to outlook the minute you open outlook. Ever piece of spam, malware infested e mail, etc is now on your pc. Do you want that?

pop3 is a mail protocol. It has nothing to do with your web browser.

pop3 is a mail protocol, and most web browsers aren’t built to speak that language. The type of programs usually used for pop3 communications are email clients.
I’m not too familiar with netscape except for using the browser part once or twice many many years ago. So it may indeed have that capability in the newer versions, especially due to their relationship with AOL who is known for their all-in-one browser/email client/dialer/chat/etc. software.
THIS IS AN ANSWER TO "ANY OTHERS"
Thunderbird is a free email client that can speak pop3 made by mozilla (the same organization responsible for firefox which many recent versions of netscape were based on)
