How can I keep all the web browsers (Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer)?

I’ve had Internet Explorer but then I downloaded Firefox and Explorer was gone.
Then I installed Google Chrome, but I still have Firefox. So now I have Firefox and Chrome, and I want to try Safari without removing the others. How can I keep all web browsers on my computer?

When you download a new Browser it doesn’t replace the other ones. It just sets one of them as default. Download Safari the other browsers should still be there.

Is installing 2 web browsers on my computer wise?

I currently have internet explorer 8, and I want to know what all the hype is about for google chrome. But I am worried installing 2 web browers on my windows vista os may confuse the system. I heard it is not a good idea to install 2 firewalls, or 2 anti virus programs so, is it wise to install 2 web browers?

Yes, it is a good idea to have a second browser. It’s nice to have an alternative browser when your other one is acting up. I like Mozilla Firefox because it is more secure for browsing and less likely to introduce viruses and malware.

And you are correct that it is not a good idea to install 2 antivirus programs and firewalls. However, this is not the case with Web browsers. You’re talking "apples and oranges" here.

Are there any web browsers for the PC that act as mobile browsers do?

I think it would be neat to see a web browser for the PC act just like a mobile web browser; where one could scroll up and down just by clicking and dragging the mouse – even further – if one clicked and held then flicked the mouse upward the page would scroll fast downward much like SkyFire or MobileIE.

You can do that in Firefox for Windows.

Middle click anywhere that isn’t a link and it brings up a scroll icon, and you can scroll up or down automatically, the farther the pointer from the icon the faster. Left click to turn off autoscroll.
If you have a wheel mouse, just flick the wheel up or down to scroll.

What i already have:

-Internet Explorer (never really use anymore)
-Mozilla Firefox
-Opera
-Safari
-and Google Chrome

any other very good web browsers out there?
Oh and i have these web browsers because if one starts acting up and malfunctioning, i will have a few other alternatives.

Stick with firefox.If your firefox crashes..use Opera.Internet Explorer is slow and I’m not sure about Safari and Google Chrome..=/

What happens if you delete all the web browsers off your computer?

Obviously you can’t get on the web to re-download them.

So…how do you get back on the web? lol

You’ll find it quite hard to access the internet.
Though for windows, although it is possible, I believe it is pretty hard to completely delete the default windows explorer.

Otherwise you’ll have restore your system or get them off the disc that came with your comp.
Or you can get a friend to put the Firefox installer or some other browser onto a USB and transfer it to your comp.

Mobile Web browsers for lg voyager in titanium?

What mobile web browsers are avaiable for the lg voyager in titanium. Right now I have the one already installed when I bought it, but when I like go to youtube, or nfl.com it says that javascript needs to be turned on and need to install adobe flash player.

On the Voyager, you cannot install other browsers, you must stick with the one it came with : (. And yes, that means no youtube videos or nfl.com or anything else with Java or flash or anything like that.

I am using Microsoft Publisher to make my web site and I cannot view it with mozilla, how can I make this happen?
Sorry, but what I mean is that When I use Mozilla or any other browser other than IE I cannot view my page. It says that this that the host of this page incorrectly uploaded the page . But with IE it is visable.

Did you save it as .html or .htm? So long as it contains any text it should be displayed. Try checking for broken tags.
If you don’t know how to open the file from your computer, just use the file protocol in Firefox to open the directory, ex. file:///C:/Documents and Settings/file.htm

Your website is all image files. Google reads text. If you want to get picked up by google, try adding some alternate text, ex. )

Are there any web browsers similar to CometBird? I used to have CometBird but the forward and back controls on my mouse didnt work with it. Can someone please name a few for me?

You can download a web browser via any protocol. You don’t have to download a web browser using a web browser.

That’s not an issue in Windows, since you cannot remove Internet Explorer as it’s part of Windows Explorer.

It’s not an issue in OS X, since there’s always ftp.

it’s not an issue in any *nix distribution since they all come with some package manger system such as yum, not to mention wget and ftp.

Many distributions also come with a bittorrent client, so you could also use that to get a web browser.

Some distributions come with an email client as well, so if someone emailed you a web browser, you could then download the attachment and configure it.

There are many other ways as well that I’m leaving out, but you get the idea; not having a web browser is not a very difficult problem.

And yes, you can, of course, burn a web browser to optical media or save it to removable media and then copy it to the machine that has no web browser.
