Respecting Your Hosts Abroad

If the resources are available, there is nothing better than journeying to the interesting and beautiful culture of France. This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to both enjoy a great romantic vacation and extend yourself. If seeing the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre is something you might eventually consider doing then I seriously encourage you to avoid being the typical confused American tourist by learning some simple French phrases. Memorizing useful vocabulary words and verb tenses is a piece of cake is you put forth the effort that is required. Trying to learn French now in order to converse with natives to that country is a very respectful and appreciated gesture that shows the importance you place on communicating with others in their own language.
