IE is Internet Explorer and If you really want to close it click ALT CTRL Delete then clicks processes then click the one that say Iexplore.exe then click End Process then it should close with a fresh new start!!!!

Why did a Yahoo bar just show up on my ie browser? How do I get rid of it?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

You probably installed it when you installed messenger or something. If you do not follow directions, this is what happens. Get rid of it by going into your control panel, go to add/remove programs, and find it and remove it.

How do you clean the browser cache in IE 6?

Posted on December 19th, 2009 by admin

On Macs, there is a feature where you can clean out the cache of a selected/current browser. However, there is no visible feature like this in IE 6 BUT it is visible in Safari for Windows. Just in case you don’t know, CACHE stores all of your email addresses, user names, passwords, and other secure info on your web browser and your hard drive. This has to be systematically cleaned up once in a while to keep your system in shape and clear up some of your HD space. If it isn’t, it’s basically bait for hackers and phishers that will try to take over your system.

With that in mind, how do you clean out the web browser cache in IE 6? Thanks, your answers are very much appreciated!

in ie,
go to tools->internet options->
wehre it says temporary files
click on delete cookies and delete files…

if you want to be really really thorough…
after the first two steps…
click on settings..
view files
select all
delete….

Why does IE browser sometimes open in a small window instead of full screen?

Posted on December 14th, 2009 by admin

Usually, I get a medium-sized window that takes up most of the screen. But sometimes, it is very small (smaller than I would ever choose to make it).

I want it to always be full screen when I open it. I know it’s just one extra click to maximize it, but it’s still annoying. Any suggestions?

Right click on task bar down by clock ,on popup click cascade windows..Take mouse pointer along edge of window pull it to full screen size.

What is wrong with my IE browser?

Posted on December 8th, 2009 by admin

When I open my IE browser, the entire menu bar disappears up. I have to move my mouse to the top of the screen for it to appear again. The blue toolbar on the bottom is gone also. The only way it appears is if I minimize IE. This started yesterday and I have no clue why. What do I need to do to fix this?

IE is in full-screen mode. Press F11 :)

why is my ie browser shutting down when i close out of a window?

Posted on December 4th, 2009 by admin

This started happening right after I installed a new HP printer. my computer runs on vista.

When you click on the x to close the window, do you get a message that asks if you want to close all tabs? If so and you click yes, it closes everything. You may have more than one tab open and the x closes them all. If that is the case, close each tab individually to keep your browser up. Good luck.

Why does my IE Browser not display graphic pictures on some sites?

Posted on December 1st, 2009 by admin

Recently, on only some websites, my browser does not display any graphic pictures. For example, at one such site, I get an entire blank screen. That particular site is a commercial site for a major brand of food, so it is a legitmate site.
I do update my Microsoft Browser software regularly, but do I need some other type of upgrade for this? What upgrade do I look for to solve this? Thanks in advance.

are you using the IE 7? I’ve heard that it has problems with loading pages. if so, then try going back to IE 6. here’s a program that can prevent microsoft from automatically installing the new one (it will start including the new browser in the microsoft updates, starting in the next few weeks).
