Do airtime minutes spent on a cell phone’s web browser count toward your free minutes?

Posted on December 30th, 2009 by admin

I have a plan with 200 free minutes per month, and the 1X Mobile Browser. Do airtime minutes used on the browser count toward the free plan minutes, or are they charged separately?

Depending on the company, most web browsing is charged by the kb, and not by the minute. If you have free minutes, but not free browsing, then you’ll be charged, either by the page, download or kb, again, depending on the company you have your service through.

Is there a free and safe web browser download compatible with windows 2000?

Of course, the Nokia 6610 comes with a wml browser. But if that doesn’t do it for you, you should check out Opera’s mini browser for cell phones. You can find it at the link below.

How do you get adware out of your web browser for free, I think it’s been hijacked. Please help me if you can!

PCTools products do get good reviews. The good thing is they have free versions of their products. They work great. Spyware Doctor from the Google pack is a must. I highly recommend it. I bought Webroots Spysweeper and spyware doctor finds stuff spysweeper does not. Having both is a perfect combo and I recommend running two anti-spyware products.

The Google Pack includes a free starter edition of Spyware Doctor.

You can do an online scan for viruses and spyware for free from the major vendors. Some of these require Internet Explorer to run because of Active-X

Its good to run two anti-spywares even if some extra resources are taken.

SuperAntiSpyware does an excellent job. AVG’s full version gets great reviews.

Anti-Spyware for a cost.
Personally I bought Webroot’s Spysweeper, their product is great and well worth the money. Watch Best Buy ads because sometimes it goes on sale for $10 to $15.

There are free anti-virus scanners availble. They work well. I like AVG and PCTools anti-viruses the best of the free anti-virus programs.
If you are not willing to spend money it is good to have some kind of anti-virus software

This is my recommendation for anti-virus. Free are good, but they are not as accurate as the top paid anti-virus software

Is there any free chating room through the web browser?

Posted on December 16th, 2009 by admin

i want to chat without downloading any installer. and i want the web site to be a free site to chat. please i need an answer.

There is one for which you don’t need to download anything and you don’t need to register either, it’s called chatforfree.org, of course it’s free. But it’s only for adults 18+. If you’re under 18 but over 12 you can always try teen-video-chat.com . It’s similar to chatforfree but it’s for teen-agers.

Is Opera Mini Web Browser for cell phones free?

Posted on December 4th, 2009 by admin

I have a T-mobile motorola v360 phone. Right now i’m not paying for internet access on my phone, so i don’t have it. If i installed Opera Mini Web Browser on my phone, does that mean i could have internet access on my phone for free? I really don’t think so, but i just wan’t to see what others think.

no the browser is something you use (for free) to browse the net with. the connection has to be present. Opera is a browser, not an IP provider.
