how do i permanently delete web browser history?

Posted on January 19th, 2010 by admin

You know how when you serach for something on google or type something into the url search bar, the searches get saved? Well i was wondering how i could delete those. I know that windows already comes with their deletion browser software inside it, but that isn that good. What is the best way to get rid of all my searches?
I use mozila firefox, btw.

Ok. First you could should go to <tools> on the top of your screen, then go to <options>, after that go to <privacy>, from there you can choose how long your history will last, if you want to accept cookies from sites, and if you want to erase private data when you close you browser.

Now just to make sure go to <history> than click on <show all history>
it should say no items and then your done I do it a lot.

Good Luck!

Hello!
I want a software that can only allow selected website to be displayed on the web browser. Rest of all the websites should be blocked. If the software is freeware then it would be of added advantage.

Posted on January 2nd, 2010 by admin

When I removed AOL from my computer, the toolbar browser extension wa left behind. When I go to ad and remove programs and try to uninstall the toolbar I get this error message; "could not open INSTALL.LOGfile." I disabled it from the ad ons, but when I open IE the "welcome to AOL toolbar" page comes up. How do I get rid of it???

There must be something let down after the uninstallation before. To help you solve it, I think the link below will help you:http://www.uninstalltips.com/category/uninstall-toolbars/

Ive noticed the Zune HD has a fairly slow web page loading time. Is MS gonna release a software update to make it faster?

The browser will more than likely be updated via the next firmware update.

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

I have always used McAfee, but I found out that Norton comes with my Yahoo product package. Should I use it, since it’s free, or stay with McAfee? I don’t know much about this stuff. Thanks.

Stay with mcafee, norten is a resource hog and causes a lot of problems and is very difficult to uninstall

May be you haven’t selected the right access point as preferred. Goto ‘Menu’ and select ‘Settings’ -> ‘Configuration’ -> ‘Preferred access point’ -> (select the access point which you use for the web browser, but make sure that you have the full GPRS connection).

how do I download the att/yahoo browser software?!?

Posted on December 19th, 2009 by admin

My family and I have the same att/yahoo high speed Internet (the one for 19.99/mo).

When they started receiving service, they were told to download the Yahoo browser (and updated software). I have the yahoo browser, but it keeps opening up with my old version of Internet Explorer.

Does anyone know of a link or help menu that I can go to to download the current version of the yahoo browser software?

Thanks.

Hi.
Go to your "att.my.yahoo.com" homepage.
In the upper right, click on "Member Center"
Click on the "Products & Services" tab
Under the "My Internet" heading you’ll see the AT&T Yahoo Browser icon. Click on it
On the next page, you’ll have the option to download it.

Lost my Sony Picture Motion Browser software for my HDR CX100 camera?

Posted on December 16th, 2009 by admin

I purchased a sony HDR- CX100 handycam which came with the Sony Picture Motion Browser software. I unfortunately lost this software and when I tried to connect my camcorder to my PC without it (with a USB 2.0 cable), it would only display DCIM pictures and no movies. Furthermore, my windows movie editor could not detect my camcorder at all. Is it necessary to have the software to upload my videos to my PC and if so, where do I find this software?
