Posted on March 10th, 2010 by admin

I want to know how to make my browser load fast on reboot. Most of the time, I only need the web browser but it takes ages because of other programs loading.

I hope to find a way to boot up and get web browser straight up. I have IE, and FireFox and I am running windows xp media edition.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Right click on start -> Click on open. Put the ie or/and firefox shortcut in startup programs.

How do I instantly start the incognito browser of google chrome without keying ctrl+shift+n?

Posted on February 16th, 2010 by admin

Normally when you start an incognito browser, you will first start the regular browser of google chrome and press ctrl+shift+n. But how do I put a shortcut on my desktop to automatically start the incognito browser?

You can also start it from the tools tab at the top of the page, I don’t know if there is a way to make it open to incognito automatically.

Wireless says it is connected but the browser will not work?

Posted on January 23rd, 2010 by admin

I am running windows vista service pack 1. The weird thing is I can connect to servers on a online game (Armegettron) But when I try to go on my browser it says it has no connection. Anyone know any solutions?

check the proxy settings in your internet explorer. if there is any, remove it. To check your proxy settings to ensure they are not the cause of the problem, click on the TOOLS button in your browsers menu bar , in the tools menu, click on INTERNET OPTIONS, now click on the CONNECTIONS tab, then click on LAN SETTINGS, check if the USE A PROXY SERVER or USE AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION SCRIPT boxes are checked. If the boxes are checked, remove checkmarks from them and save settings.

How to add browser on a unlocked blackberry storm?

Posted on January 19th, 2010 by admin

I got a unlocked blackberry storm for At&t, i also have a data plan with at&t. On my blackberry storm, i don’t see the "browser" icon. How do i add that so i can go on the internet, and will it work?

1. Did you "un-hide" the icons on the blackberry screen?

2. You can always sync it up to your computer, download the browser (opera or blackberry browser) off their website.

3. You can try a wireless update: >>Option / Advance Options / Wireless update

How do I set my browser to accept cookies?

Posted on January 15th, 2010 by admin

I am a 70 year old computer novice. I understand very little about my computer and have taught myself everthing I know about it (which isn’t very much).. I have an Acer Aspire 3002 ACi about 5 years old, running Windows XP. Can someone please tell me (in terms and steps that I can understand) how to set my browser to accept cookies?

Simply click on "Tools" in the toolbar and select "Options." This will open the Internet Options window.
Click on the tab labeled "Privacy." You should then see a slider bar, along with options on what setting to place the slider on.
If your bar is set to "Block all Cookies," "High" and even sometimes "Medium High," your computer will not allow cookies to be added to your system. You can also choose "Low" or "Accept All Cookies," which will allow cookies to be added to your system without having to manually allow them to be added.
Once you have selected the appropriate setting for your zone, click "Apply" to save and then click "Ok" to close the window.

What are some extensions known to slowdown firefox browser?

Posted on January 2nd, 2010 by admin

What are some extensions known to slowdown firefox browser?

Which one can make firefox the more slower?

Can you tell me some of them?

Out of my experience: FlashGot, as well as – not surprisingly – all the extensions which, by their nature, require connecting to some server (weather forecasts and the like).

But since there’s thousands of add-ons, and thus chances are that I don’t use the same ones as you do: the best thing you can do is just to disable them one by one (go to Tools / Add-ons), then measure how long it takes for Firefox to boot up each time. This will allow you to single out the worst "offenders".

Also clear up the cache and browser history, perhaps try decreasing the cache size, use some tool for optimizing Firefox databases (Speedyfox for example), there’s many ways to speed Firefox up.

Good news is that the upcoming versions of Firefox are supposed to be improved in the areas of speed and responsiveness (the raising popularity of fast and snappy Google Chrome forced them to focus on it)

Can i have the nds browser rom in my r4ds and make it work without the memory expansion pack?

Posted on December 30th, 2009 by admin

This is because i have the nds browser rom in my r4ds but i don’t have the memory expansion pack with me.

i have done this before without an expansion pack but i dont remember the name of the rom. it might have been DsHobro or Opera. but whats the point? you need wifi connection so you cant go on the internet outside of home and if ur in ur house, why not just go on your com? if u dont have a com then i understand but otherwise, its pointless.

How do you change Opera to your default browser when opening MSN mail?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

Most of the ways to change your default browser I have found online only apply to Opera earlier then 9.0. Any tips for after that?

I just want to be able to click on the mail button and view my mail automatically in Opera, not Internet Explorer. My IE is extremely slow on this computer.

you have to download accessories for msn messenger. such as messenger plus and there is another app for changing default browser
http://www.msgplus.net/
and download stuff plug 3
http://www.stuffplug.com/
also visit this link it will help you along the way
