How safe is it to have 2 web browsers?
Posted on February 26th, 2010 by admin
Hi guys well the thing is that I have Safari as a default browser and I also want to have google chrome as en extra web browser to do the fast surfing and other stuff that Safari cant do. So I just wanted to know if by having two web browsers will that cause problems to my computer? I have Windows Vista.
Both browsers are quite safe, and you’ll be fine. As long as you have a firewall or anti-virus device, provided you stay away from Internet Explorer, I doubt you’ll encounter any issues.

There is no danger to have more then one web browser. You can have 5 if you wanted, just don;t have them all open at once. Otherwise the computer will run slow.

Browsers don’t take up much space on your hard drive, you can have as many as you want. I have IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari, and Google Chrome. Most of the time I use firefox. But when in need of speed I use Chrome

Actually I have installed 4 web browsers and my default web browser is mozilla firefox
So don’t worry about that….and i personally recommend Mozilla Firefox. There is a large collection of add-ons.
it’s time to upgrade to windows 7

It’s fine. When safety is concerned it’s more about your anti-malware software and if it has browser integration. Safari is relatively safe.
