Web Browser

I am running windows vista service pack 1. The weird thing is I can connect to servers on a online game (Armegettron) But when I try to go on my browser it says it has no connection. Anyone know any solutions?

check the proxy settings in your internet explorer. if there is any, remove it. To check your proxy settings to ensure they are not the cause of the problem, click on the TOOLS button in your browsers menu bar , in the tools menu, click on INTERNET OPTIONS, now click on the CONNECTIONS tab, then click on LAN SETTINGS, check if the USE A PROXY SERVER or USE AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION SCRIPT boxes are checked. If the boxes are checked, remove checkmarks from them and save settings.

   It sounds like you need to do a MAC address clone. Call tech support for the manufacturer of your wireless router. They will be able to walk you through it.

   If you are still having problems, check this video out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9KWdOLgylg I use both powerline and wireless. Powerline is really as simple as it sounds in this video. You can get these products at Best Buy.
