Is an Internet browser a part of the operating system of a computer, or application software? (This question was central to a major antitrust case between the United States and Microsoft about ten years ago.) Discuss reasons why the browser would be considered a part of the operating system, or application software.

if its internet explorer it is installed with a windows operating system so i would say its microsofts problem ..

I would say it’s Application Software for a Internet Browser

For example you can download IE7 or FireFox

but even tho Windows XP Installs IE6 i believe it’s still Application Software and not apart of the operating system.
