Why did a Yahoo bar just show up on my ie browser? How do I get rid of it?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

You probably installed it when you installed messenger or something. If you do not follow directions, this is what happens. Get rid of it by going into your control panel, go to add/remove programs, and find it and remove it.

Where can I download firefox browser?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

I downloaded the browser setup but what I downloaded was not compatible with my system. It said wasn’t a win32 program or something like that. Any suggetions yahoo?

Firefox 3 is based on the Gecko 1.9 Web rendering platform, which has been under development for the past 32 months. Building on the previous release, Gecko 1.9 has more than 12,000 updates including some major re-architecting to provide improved performance, stability, rendering correctness, and code simplification and sustainability. Firefox 3 has been built on top of this new platform resulting in a more secure, easier to use, more personal product with a lot more under the hood to offer website and Firefox add-on developers.

You can downliad it at

Should I use the Norton Antivirus Software that comes with my Yahoo browser?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

I have always used McAfee, but I found out that Norton comes with my Yahoo product package. Should I use it, since it’s free, or stay with McAfee? I don’t know much about this stuff. Thanks.

Stay with mcafee, norten is a resource hog and causes a lot of problems and is very difficult to uninstall

How do you change Opera to your default browser when opening MSN mail?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

Most of the ways to change your default browser I have found online only apply to Opera earlier then 9.0. Any tips for after that?

I just want to be able to click on the mail button and view my mail automatically in Opera, not Internet Explorer. My IE is extremely slow on this computer.

you have to download accessories for msn messenger. such as messenger plus and there is another app for changing default browser
http://www.msgplus.net/
and download stuff plug 3
http://www.stuffplug.com/
also visit this link it will help you along the way

Which web browsers uses the least system resources?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

When viewing normal websites with text and some graphics (no java, sounds, etc), which web browser uses the least system resources?

I like to watch movies while browsing the web, and when using IE sometimes it will cause the video to pause briefly or the sound to get out of sync for a few seconds…so am curious what windows browser would be the best to try.

Thanks!

The one I seen use the least ram was either IE or opera

How can you stop an internet browser from loading the next page without using the Stop button?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

How can you stop an internet browser from loading the next page without using the Stop button? So that when I click a link it would send info as normal but just not load the next page?

That is an excellent question – I hope someone answers this!

There are certain websites that my web browser is no longer accessing. What can I do to correct this problem?

Posted on December 24th, 2009 by admin

My Internet Explorer web browser has recently been unable to access Google, MSN, Baseball Reference, and other websites. Is there something I can do to fix this? I’ve run virus scan software, deleted cookies and temp files and still no dice.

I ran into this same problem today. I ended up restoring to two days ago. Also ran yahoo anti-spy. I had 16 cookies and spyware people who hooked onto my puter. I also went to tools, at top of my yahoo page, click on internet options, and deleted my temporary files, cookies, and history. It cleared me up.
